For SAMSUNG's latest GALAXY campaign, audiovisual content was diffused on a massive screen in the Parisian train station Gare De Lyon. This project was made possible by LAB Production in collaboration with Media Transport. SAMSUNG needed a solution to make their campaing heard, and to lift commuters attention to their enourmous screen, which was suppended 6 meters above the ground. The challenge of this project was to diffuse the sound without creating any additional sound pollution due to the broadcast of various messages and announcements in the train station.
How to capture the attention of the commuters towards the screen installed 6 meters above the ground and create a giant sound bubble without causing any sound pollution?
Thanks to our directional speaker, The "A", SAMSUNG was able to create a giant sound bubble in the Gare de Lyon train station, and allow individuals to clearly hear the message diffused despite being in a noisy environment. When they enter the bubble they would be immersed in the audio of the advertisement and when they exit the bubble they would return to the hustle and bustle of the train station.
Mounted 6 meters above the ground, the arragement of 5 speakers was necessary to expand the size of the sound bubble created on the ground by Akoustic Arts' directional speakers . A large enough auditory area on the open space allowed the commuters to be immersed in the sound shower of the advertisment.
The "A" is a directional speaker that creates a sound bubble which will work perfectly to broadcast sound and capture the attention of passers by in an open space. It will improve the user experience and increase the effectiveness of the message being broadcasted.
"Exceptional result! The sound diffused by Akoustic Arts ultra-directional speaker was even more captivating in the boisterous enviroment."
